GIGI HADID CURATES DENIM EDIT FOR LIU JO

PERLA--The Italian fashion brand Liu Jo is collaborating with Gigi Hadid on 'The Gigi Hadid Edit', a selection of items curated by the model from her personal perspective on style. The first drop is entirely focused on denim.

Selection as a starting point
According to Liu Jo, the collaboration goes beyond a traditional endorsement. The concept of curation is a central theme of the project. Hadid has assembled a wardrobe that combines international flair, everyday versatility, and the brand's denim expertise. The brand describes the result as an edit that represents a confident, independent, and spontaneous femininity.

The selection is intended to be interpreted in a unique way by each wearer, according to Liu Jo. The brand sees this as a contemporary approach to fashion, where conscious choice and self-expression are key.

Denim, digital prints and cowboy boots
Denim has been part of Liu Jo's DNA for years and therefore forms the basis of the first drop. The edit consists of complete denim looks with contemporary proportions and an urban feel, where overshirts, bomber jackets, and Napoleon jackets are the key pieces. Statement pieces are combined with coordinated silhouettes.

Some of the designs feature digital prints applied directly to the fabric. Pieces with a lived-in look are given extra character through refined decorative details. Leather cowboy boots with western influences, tonal stitching, and a tactile finish complete the selection.
Conversation with a new audience
Maurizio Croceri, chief executive officer of Exelite S.p.A., Liu Jo's parent company, calls the edit an important step in the brand's development. “We chose to start with what defines us most, denim, and have it interpreted from Gigi Hadid's personal and international perspective,” said Croceri.
According to Croceri, the project is not about imposing an image, but about creating value through authentic choices. These choices are intended to make the product appealing while strengthening Liu Jo's dialogue with a new audience.

Hadid says she chose the items that best reflect her personal view on style. “Every look tells a story and every selection is a statement of identity,” said the model. “Liu Jo shares that same vision and together we have created an edit that celebrates personal style, encourages self-expression, and inspires everyone to show their individuality.”

With the first drop, Liu Jo aims to underscore its vision of fashion as a space for freedom and self-expression.
