MESSIKA PRESENTS TERRES DE CONTRASTES IN A HIGH JEWELRY SHOW AT THE GRAND PALAIS

Paris, (PERLA) - Messika unveiled its new High Jewelry collection, Terres de Contrastes, with a runway show held at the Grand Palais during Paris Fashion Week.

Terres de Contrastes claims a land of perpetual renewal, light igniting the horizon, landscapes colliding at their extreme and wildlife prowling in pure instinctive force. This is Botswana, echoed in the scenography across three chromatic territories bound in elemental contrast: the lush blues and deep greens of the Okavango Delta, the burning ochres and rich reds of the Kalahari Desert, and the stark mineral whites of the Makgadikgadi Pans, veiled in dusk's delicate pinks and violets.

Set in the heart of Paris, the show illuminated the Galerie Courbe at the Grand Palais. The soaring arc of the gallery, cast in the image of the Kalahari's crested dunes, established a dialogue between historic landmark and untamed wilderness.

Alongside Valérie Messika, Carine Roitfeld brought her innate vision of the Parisian woman to the runway, styling silhouettes of effortless sophistication and sensual poise. In motion, the jewels swayed with the body, the cadence of the walk igniting every stone.

Adriana Lima opened the show while Irina Shayk closed it wearing the collection's most sovereign piece, the Okavango Blue, their collective energy igniting every creation with presence set in motion.

Cut from a 41.11-carat rough into 20.46 sovereign carats, it reigns as the largest blue diamond ever discovered in Botswana and the eighth largest in the world. Classified Fancy Deep Blue with VVS1 clarity, it holds earth, water and light in a single, unrepeatable shade. The Honorable Bogolo Joy Kenewendo, Botswana's Minister of Minerals and Energy, bore witness to the stone's High Jewelry debut.

The front row welcomed Maison Ambassadors Julianne Moore, Kiko Mizuhara, Kim You Jung, Lee Soohyuk, Gengxi Li, Miriam Leone and Balqees Fathi, alongside Friends of the Maison and international personalities including Gunna, Ester Expósito, Carla Bruni, Sümeyye Aydoğan, Hafsia Herzi, Tiakola, SCH, Géraldine Nakache, Eye Haïdara, Khushi Kapoor, Léna Mahfouf, Ophélie Meunier, Anne Parillaud, Lina Malaika, Yuri, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz.
