DUBAI’S GLOBAL VILLAGE CONFIRMS SEASON 31 OPENING DATE

PERLA -- Global Village is returning for its 31st season, commencing on 14 October 2026 and continuing through May 2027. This multicultural destination has established itself as a prominent feature of the UAE's cooler season, attracting families, culinary enthusiasts, and cultural aficionados from throughout the region. Featuring an eight-month schedule that encompasses Ramadan and Eid celebrations, Global Village offers enhanced entertainment options, expanded culinary selections, and additional incentives for visitation.

Originating in 1997 as a modest collection of vendor stalls in a Dubai Creek Park parking facility, the venue has evolved into one of Dubai's most sought-after destinations. Following its initial years at Creek Park, Global Village relocated to Oud Metha adjacent to Wafi City in 2001, subsequently attracting visitor numbers exceeding the initial 500,000 recorded at its original location. The facility relocated to a permanent location in Dubailand in 2005 and has undergone continuous expansion since that time. The previous season achieved a record attendance of 10.5 million visitors, an exceptional achievement that establishes ambitious expectations for the forthcoming year.
