PERLA—Elon Musk just revealed the world’s first flying car, Tesla’s long awaited next-generation Roadster which is really outer of this world. The Roadster can perform at levels unlike any other production car. It goes beyond Plaid to unlock an entirely new dimension of driving. It challenges the limits of design, engineering and physics to deliver an expertly crafted extra-terrestrial vehicle.

Designed to be minimalist yet highly technical. Hidden headlights, a full-length taillight and flush-mounted aerodynamics conceal the vehicle's true form. It is grounded by super light wheels with thin spokes that reinforce its structural strength when earthbound.

Ano White paint takes inspiration from aerospace techniques that provide UV and cryogenic protection when exposed to the harshness of space, plus electrostatic dissipation and corrosion resistance to protect rockets during pre-launch and recovery.

Tinted glass windows are designed to mimic the copper coating that gives spacesuit visors their gold radiance. Subtle titanium accents further embody space-age design while accentuating the vehicle’s most unique features.

Our iconic Ultrawhite interior is accented with gray microsuede detailing. Seats feature microsuede bolsters for added grip. Yoke is designed specifically for steer by wire. A center touchscreen supported by two smaller forward displays provides critical driving info.

First principles engineering, manual controls and a fixed seat position help reduce overall vehicle mass. With lightweight, high-strength materials throughout, including magnesium, titanium and carbon fiber, we are able to achieve even greater reductions. This allows Roadster to respond to driver inputs almost instantly during extra-dimensional driving.

The car can go from 0-60 MPH in under one second with production reportedly targeted for 2028.
