The singer of "All I Want for Christmas Is You" features prominently in Gucci's latest holiday video, showcasing her new Butterfly collection, which draws inspiration from her 1997 album of the same title and is crafted in partnership with the renowned Italian fashion house. 

Directed by Harmony Korine, the video depicts hotel staff and guests bustling around as they prepare for a celebration in Carey’s honor. Christmas trees are adorned, lights are hung, and candles are lit, all in anticipation of the singer's arrival, accompanied by the sounds of her iconic seasonal song, of course. 

Gucci states that the campaign honors Carey’s "status as a cultural icon and a staple of the holiday season," while encapsulating the "joyful excitement of one of the year's most awaited events."
