Making its debut in the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet collection, the openworked perpetual calendar showcases one of the Manufacture’s most enduring crafts. Powered by the new Caliber 7139, it highlights the intricate art of openworking, an Audemars Piguet specialty since the 1930s. Visible from both the dial and caseback, the movement is a harmonious blend of innovation, transparency and craftsmanship.

Calibre 7139 brings a new dimension to the perpetual calendar through an innovative architecture that seamlessly combines ease of use and mechanical sophistication. Its patented crown correction system enables all calendar adjustments to be made using the crown alone while maintaining a slim profile and 55-hour power reserve. The openworked movement reveals skeletonized bridges and wheels enhanced by over 35 hours of hand-applied beveling and more than 150 hand-cut angles.
