THE STORY OF WAEL KFOURY

PERLA – As we embark on a journey of music and melodies, on a level that we could easily label as luxurious and elegance, there is one name that would make a difference and he is Wael Kfoury.

Wael represents everything romance and we all have been there after a long day at work or during our first date cruising in our dad’s car listening to his songs made for all those broken hearts  (Ya Dali Ya Rouhi, Bihinn) and it gets even deeper when he sings about missing someone (bi7abak Ana Kteer, Omry Kolo) and others.

Michel Émile Kfoury, popularly recognized by his stage name Wael Kfoury, is a Lebanese singer, musician, songwriter, and actor, often referred to as "The King of Romance" due to his heartfelt Arabic pop ballads.
He gained prominence after winning Studio El Fan in 1993 and has since released a multitude of successful albums, including Shafouha W Sarou Y'oulou, Bhebak Ana Ktir, and Ya Dalli Ya Rouhi.

Renowned for his ability to fuse traditional Lebanese folk music with modern sounds, he has also appeared in the film Bahr el Noujoum and has taken on the role of a judge on a television talent show.

Kfoury has been honored with several Murex D’Or awards, has toured internationally, and continues to enjoy significant popularity throughout the Arab world.
