ISABELLE.C DEBUTS WEARABLE ART AND INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE MASTERPIECES AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK’S CHINA INSTITUTE FASHION WEEK
Hong Kong Heritage Luxury Brand ISABELLE.C Redefines Modern Chinese Aesthetics, Unveiling Its Intangible Heritage Collection at China Institute Fashion Night
NEW YORK, (PERLA)-- Blending millennia-old Chinese textile heritage, exquisite intangible craftsmanship and contemporary artistic aesthetics, prestigious Hong Kong luxury fashion house ISABELLE.C staged a remarkable runway presentation at China Institute Fashion Week (CIFW) during New York Fashion Week 2026. Headlining the brand’s New York debut is its exclusive showcase at China Institute Fashion Night, highlighting a brand-new collection that reinterprets traditional Chinese craftsmanship through a global modern design lens.
Centered on the poetic creative theme “A Path of Blossoms, Dreams in Motion”, ISABELLE.C’s Fashion Night presentation delivered an immersive fashion narrative that seamlessly integrates artistic inspiration, ancestral handcraft techniques and modern tailoring aesthetics. The collection fully embodies the brand’s persistent vision: to awaken the vitality of time-honored Chinese artistry and ancient textile craftsmanship, and translate profound Eastern cultural heritage into an elegant, internationally recognized contemporary fashion language.
Guided by its core brand philosophy “ART IS FASHION”, ISABELLE.C collaborates with outstanding artists from Hong Kong and across regions, including renowned and emerging young artists, transforming original fine artworks into exclusive wearable art pieces. Through the brand’s innovative independent print-and-dye craftsmanship, the color gradients, spatial composition, brushwork and emotional temperament of original artworks are carefully reconstructed on premium heritage fabrics, including authentic Gambiered Canton Silk (Xiangyunsha). Among these artistic collaborations, the artwork by Zhao Zhijing, Member of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), Chairman of its Visual Arts Group, Executive Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Association, and Chairman of the China International Ink Painting Society, has been translated onto precious heritage fabrics through the brand’s distinctive print-and-dye technique. ISABELLE.C has also collaborated with Hong Kong emerging artists Isaac, Chen Taichen and Isabelle, Chen Qianyu, presenting their respective works In the Lone Starlight and In the First Light through the brand’s distinctive approach to wearable art. Both works were invited to be presented as part of a parallel exhibition of the 61st Venice Biennale, highlighting ISABELLE.C’s commitment to carrying forward cultural heritage through a new generation of artists.
